Reflection of Day 4
Questions for Day 4
- What did you learn about yourself or your spouse by doing this today?
- How could this become a more natural routine and genuinely helpful part of your lifestyle?
Yesterday's Dare (07/02/20) I reached out to my Lorenzo and I asked him how his day was going and if he needed anything. He answered me with a "Nope". Which is what I was expecting him to answer with, but I still asked the question. I guess from this dare, I didn't really learn anything new about myself or my spouse because I usually do ask if he needs anything. I think the only thing that I changed was how I asked it. I asked it in a calm and loving manner.
How this type of dare could become more of a natural routine would be by asking it once in a while and not all the time and not to hound him for an answer. I just need to be available and to continually show him love and appreciation.

Day 5: Love is Not Rude |
Today's Goal
Today (07/03/2020); while listening to today's dare, it mentions you to really think about how your spouse feel about the way you speak and act around them and how does your behavior effect your mates sense of worth and self esteem. I am not sure how I feel about these questions because I am not sure.
Three things that it says we should really reflect on is:
1) guard the golden rule. "treat your mate the same way you want to be treated (Luke 6 31)
2) no double standards. be as considerate to your spouse as your are to friends, strangers, coworkers, etc.
3) honor requests. Consider what your spouse has already asked you to do or not do. If in doubt, ask.
